Belkinin kapula on jo asennettu ja sen sen oman softan kautta saa näkyviin puhelimen mutta mitään hyödyllistä en tuolla ohjelmalla ole saanut aikaan. Nokian PC suite:ssa taas tämä perusjuttu eli tervehdysikkunassa painellaan OK mutta mitään ei tapahdu. Mitenkäs menetellä?
mRouteriin vain valitsemaan portti, mistä puhelinta etsitään...
Ei auta. Ei vaikka kaikki portit olisi valittuina.
Ja yksi uusikin onglema ilmeni:
Kun yritän asentaa puhelimen ajureita, tulee virheilmoitus: "1608: Unable to create InstallDriver instance, Return code: -214221164"
Belkinhän käyttää Widcomm:n ajureita. Onkos uusimmat ajurit alla?
Vanhemmat tuntuvat olevan bugi hirmuja, kun uusimissakin on vielä paljon parannettavaa...
This isn't the whole solution, but I am in contact with Belkin, who are being extremely helpful in solving the problem - I will keep you updated.
With the Belkin F8T001 BT adaptor and Windows XP, there are problems with the driver freezing, and the systray BTMainWindow application crashing on logout. This adaptor uses the Widcomm drivers, which are also used by many other BT adaptors. Attached is a picture showing one of the scenarios - BT connected and working, but the BT status window showing no connection.
As far as I know, there are several driver versions. Beklin currently believe that the problem only exists with the 1.2.2.9 version. I have never used 1.2.2.9. I've just used 1.2.2.16 and 1.3.2.7 - and I've had the problems with both.
The default configuration for the BT adaptor is to have the BT connection on COM5 with encryption enabled. THe advice from Belkin was to configure the interface on COM9 with no encryption, and never use the quick-connect in the systray - this has made my configuration much more reliable in connecting to PCSuite - it hasn't as yet solved the lock-up issues.
The good advice received so far is as follows:
1. Open Bluetooth Neighborhood.
2. On the Tool Bar Menu Select BLUETOOTH then Advanced Configuration / Device Configuration (depending on the driver version)
3. Select Local Services
4. Double click on the Serial Port
5. Make sure that Startup is the only option Checked (uncheck encryption)
6. Next change the port to ComPort COM 9 or a higher number COM Port and click OK
7. Select Client Applications tab
8. Double Click on Bluetooth Serial Port
9. Click on the Pull down Menu and Click on COM10 or higher and Click OK
10. Click apply
Then
1. Go to Bluetooth Neighborhood, My Device
2. Right click on the Serial Port Icon the go to Properties
3. Verify the COM9 (above) is selected and that Start up Automatically is checked (uncheck encryption).
4. Double Click on the M-Router icon (PC Suite) on your taskbar.
5. In the PC Suite Software enable COM9 (above) only and close
6. Go Back to Entire Bluetooth Neighborhood and double click on the Paired Nokia Phone Icon
7. Double click on the serial Port icon
8. Accept the connection on your Phone
9. You may get an error on your computer saying that com 0 is being used. Click OK.
10. You may get a connection fail prompt. Click OK
You are now connected to your phone. Verify the connection by double clicking on the M-router icon on the bottom right of you're tool bar. The PC Suite Icon in the system tray will also turn from grayed out to blue and green meaning that is connected.
Itse sain noiden avulla oman yhteyden toimimaan, myös PC-Suiten kanssa, ja nämähän on Belkinin 'suosittelemat' asetukset.
Itellä on MSI:n dongle. Noin 10-20minuuttia värkkäsin tuon kanssa ja yhteys rupesi pelaamaan.
Aina kun yritän ottaa yhteyttä puhelimeen, puhelin pyytää salasanaa laitteelle "kone". Tämän jälkeen kone pyytää myös salasanaa mutta kuitenkaan yhdistäminen ei onnistu. Saako salasanasuojausta kytkettyä pois?
Salasanaa ei saa pois...
Pistät kuitenkin oikeat salasanat?
Silloinhan yhteys ei onnistu, jos salasanat on väärin (yleensä donglen salasana on 0000).
Siis minulla sen salasanan saa itse kirjoittaa puhelimeen, jonka jälkeen kone sitä kysyy, ja tietenkin kirjoitan ne oikein mutta silti yhteyttä ei synny. :(
Tulipas tuossa mieleen, että oletko ottanut 'Secure Connectionin' pois päältä? Sen kun ottaa pois, niin mikä tahansa salasana käy.
Vai joko toimii?
Mulla on sellanen ongelma että, mRouter on yhteydessä mutta ei näytä laitetta, ja Pc Suite ei mene eteenpäin vaikka sitä O.K:ta miten hakkais..
Mitä teen?!?!?!?

jooh, mutta kertokaas miten saan noita com portteja lisättyä. koska kun menen sinne bluetooth neighborhood -> advanced configuration ja sieltä klikkaan sen local services ja sieltä serial port, niin siihen pitäs laittaa isompi COM tai yhtäsuuri kun COM9 mutta minulla siinä ei ole vaihtoehtoja. vain COM0 on vaihtoehtona. mites saan sen sitten sinne COM9????? mulla ei toimi pc suite sanoo vaan alussa että "tämä on ensimmäinen käyttökertasin" ja sitten ei tapahu mitään. kun painan mrouteriin niin siellä on (COM1 Kaapeli) (COM2 Kaapeli) ja (infrapuna). mutta muuta siellä ei ole. ei edes sitä COM0 josta se kai sitä puhelinta yrittää etsiä. kertokaas tähän neuvo niin olen loppuelämäni onnellinen. puhelin on siis 6600 ja belkinin dongle vakio ajureilla. yhteys siis toimii kun lähetän kuvan puhelimesta koneelle. mutta PC suite on tässä se joka täytyisi saada pelaamaan kun pitää laittaa tuo puhelin toimimaan lotus notesin kanssa. puhelimen boottiakin olen kokeillut. silloin se puhelin löyti uuden laitteen eli koneen mutta ei tapahtunu pc suitessa mitään muutosta.
jooh, nyt onnistuin lisäämään niitä com portteja sieltä advanced properties valikon kautta. ja sain jopa yhteyden tietokoneeseen ilman että tarvitsi lähettää kuvaa, mutta sitten ilmeni taas uusi ongelma kun tietokone sanoi että laite yrittää ottaa yhteyttä ja painasin että ota yhteyden otto vastaan, silloin tietokone karjaisi että "laitteita ei voida liittää pariksi" mites nyt tehään? kertokee ihmeessä... kiitän jo etukäteen
greedi, saitko toimimaan jo tuosta "laitetta ei voi liittää pariksi" kohdasta? itellä sama ongelma?
